January 4, 2019 For Immediate Release The road to the 2019 Canadian Men's and Women's Curling Championship begin next weekend at Thistle St. Andrews Curling Club in Saint John.
On the Men's Tankard side the field is highlighted by former provincial winners Terry Odishaw, Jason Vaughan and Paul Dobson. Former Canadian Junior Champion and multiple New Brunswick Scotties Champion Andrea Crawford and defending Champion Sylvie Robichaud lead the female contingent chasing the Provincial Scotties title.
The Preliminaries begin on Friday January 11th with the first draw at 7 pm. The finals are scheduled for Sunday afternoon at 2. Results will be available at http://www.curlingzone.com/events.php#1 . The qualifying teams will advance to the provincial finals later this month in Moncton. The winners from those events will wear the New Brunswick colours at the Tim Horton's Brier and the Scotties Canadian Championship.
